Hello,

I am trying to test a backup job using DPM to run a tape backup but I get critical alerts that the job failed because the tape is write protected. I just installed FireStreamer so I don't know why the tapes are write protected, or how to turn the write protection off.

You need to check the Activity view of Firestreamer Snap-In for warning or error messages. See also W004: The medium is write protected.
