DPM Jobs Fail - ID 24052

All DPM jobs failing, with ID 24052, DPM could not reserve the drive resource because one of required drive resources is not online or it needs cleaning or servicing. Tried different external hard drives, tried Unloading and reloading media, tried rebooting.

  1. Are there any errors or warnings in the Activity view of Firestreamer Snap-In? Note that the messages remain there until the machine is rebooted. You can find old errors and warnings in Windows Application Event Log, but it'd probably be easier to replicate the problem and check the Activity view.
  2. What are the versions of Windows, DPM, Firestreamer?
  3. Do the Firestreamer libraries look all right in DPM under Maintenance > LIbraries in terms of the number of drives and slots? Are the libraries online?
  4. I assume Firestreamer worked fine before. What did you change?
