FireStreamer + DPM2010 + USB Drives + Weekly Rotations?

I just wanted to validate the following scenario would work with FileStreamer before we start evaluating. We're currently a BackupExec shop but we're looking to move to DPM 2010 as we shift to more VM based systems.

We currently use 4 external USB3 drives that each corresponds to 1 weeks worth of backups. Once a week we swap the drives and then run a full backup job set and then incrementals run for the rest of the week. The other drives go into a media safe for security and fire protection. When the next week hits we repeat the process again.

From reading some posts here and this FAQ item below, it sounds like we can do what we want with DPM2010 + FileStreamer. As I mentioned though we were just looking for validation before moving forward with testing.

The scenario that you described should work. Firestreamer supports USB external drives. All the rest is up to Microsoft DPM. See What is the best backup strategy for my environment? for more info.
