We are using DPM 2010 and it is having issues seeing a few of the tapes from Firestreamer. It is showing 3 slots out of 200 as empty. Firestreamer see's the drives but no luck in DPM. Any ideas?

Are you saying that there are 200 slots and 200 tapes in them in Firestreamer, but DPM only shows 197 tapes? Are there any errors or warnings in DPM or the Activity view of the Firestreamer Snap-In? Have you performed Inventory in DPM?

The error it is giving me is "Operation failed since the slot 163 in library clinic library was empty. This tape is currently present in Drive Firestreamer Tape Drive (LT1yadayadayada) (ID24027)" Reccomeneded action, Use the front panel of your library to move the tape from its current location to the slot specified above.

See http://social.technet.microsoft.com/For ... b2b5218712. The error seems to be "by design" and reported when DPM performs inventory while a backup job is in progress. It has nothing to do with Firestreamer.
