Short erase in DPM 2010

DPM 2010 supports short erase with a registry modification and can be used if the tape drive supports it. Does Firestreamer support short erase?

Firestreamer doesn't support short erase. However, with long erase Firestreamer overwrites just the tape header, not the entire tape, so it's a quick operation.
